Tryon Floor Co. started in 2011 with one used van, a rented bay off Wilkinson Blvd, and a rule: the person who quotes the floor installs the floor. Fifteen years later there are four crews and a 9,000 sq ft warehouse on Thrift Rd, and the rule still stands. The crew lead who measures your rooms is the one on your job.
We stayed a flooring-only company on purpose. No roofing division, no painting arm. Hardwood, LVP, tile and carpet, done daily, is why an install that takes others a week takes us 2 to 4 days.
Every installer is a W-2 employee with at least 5 years on the trade. We train on our own warehouse floor, we background-check, and we send the same crew back if warranty work ever comes up. In 15 years, warranty callbacks have stayed under 2 percent of jobs.
